Happy Holidays!

It's always a marvel to me how magical a Christmas tree looks given how tacky with a capital T the individual components are. The fake tree, the ornaments held together with superglue and string, the garbage-bag-green string of lights and of course, tinsel. Then you put them all together and it's beautiful.

Off we go!

It's time for me to putter off into the sunset, towards family reunions, Chicago weather (snow, snow, wind, ice, more snow), holiday parties and, of course, eggnog. I'm planning on doing a bit of a photo safari on the blog since my illustration style isn't portable in the tiniest bit.

On the publishing front, word is that I should be able to make an announcement just before Christmas, so stay tuned!
