Tumblr roundup

Since my tumblr is fairly new, I thought I'd gather up some of the watercolor sketches that I've been posting there.  I originally started with the thought that even though 'the internet is made of cats' I've never actually ever posted any drawings of them before!  Then it began to snowball fairly thoroughly, as you can see.

Turns out, they're pretty fun to draw!

Thursday Doodle

Today's scrimshaw doodle features the supremely muscular Cap'n Brawnsworth and his left bicep Tad. His right bicep is named Chester, but sadly because of a rogue parrot attack, he refused to be drawn.  Not being in peak condition, you see.

"What could go wrong' ye said.  We keep an eye on the cap'n while he gets new peg legs, simple!, ye said.  The first mate be skewering us fer lettin' this happen, I say."

"Quit yer bellyaching an help me already!  Cap'n?  Could ye go fer a shorter pair o' pegs maybe?  Please?"

"NAY LADS!  THE LIKES O' THESE PEGS MAKE LOOSING ME LEGS BE WORTH IT!"

"And what in blue blazes be happening here?  Lads?  Care to be explaining this?"

'Tis the Season! (to get some knitting done quickly)

A little bit of a holiday watercolor doodle, mostly inspired by how I really need to finish up on my own Christmas knitting. December really snuck up on me this year!
