Illustration Friday- Bottled

A year has passed since I wrote my note
But I should have known this right from the start
Only hope can keep me together- Sting and Police, "Message In A Bottle"

This painting is one of many book covers I've created for Every Child An Author; it fit this week's theme so well, I couldn't resist!

Artist’s note: A few of the book covers for Every Child An Author were based upon designs that were the winning entries in school run art contests. The idea being that children would be able to see their drawing turned into a professional illustration- this painting is one of these. My apologies for the oversight in the original posting- the concept art that this painting is based on was created by Taylor C, age 12, Houston, Texas.
