Illustration Friday- Adrift
Well, things certainly could be worse. True, being set adrift was no picnic, and it seemed as though a storm was starting up- with no land in sight. But at least seasickness was never a problem and there were plenty of fish about. Though the only fish he could see around the boat at the moment were the ones with large grey triangular dorsal fins...

ReplyDeleteActually, the entire piece is painted in gouache over a layer of acrylic. Then I go back in with colored pencil to sharpen the edges.
I really love the froth you made over those waves. GO gouache!
