Waving at Darwin

It may be a frog instead of a finch, but here's to the evolution of a sketch.

Turns out that frogs are naturally sour looking and cross-eyed.  

Still sour, but no longer cross-eyed.  Progress, hurrah!

Yes, I do realize that the book of choice is a horrible, horrible pun.  Perhaps the water by my house should be checked for suspicious substances?

Turned out rather well- painted in a mix of gouache and acrylic, for those of you interested.
